Strategic Assignments

 

The purpose of the strategic assignments is for church ministries to engage themselves in their local community. If you would like your church to spearhead one of these assignments, contact us.

F to C (Father's to Children)

 

  • Gather statistical information relative to this ministry

  • Create Family Builders curriculum

  • Use survey results to reconnect with single mothers to obtain contact information of the fathers of their children.  Use every reasonable measure to meet with the fathers.

  • Schedule fishing trips.

  • Encourage fathers to attend scheduled academic awards celebrations put on by F.A.M.A.

  • Encourage fathers to attend sportsmanship ceremonies Sponsored by F.A.M.A.

  • Contact Buccaneer, Lightning, Rays and Tampa Yankees headquarters, to enquire about sponsoring tickets to their games for F to C.

  • Enroll with Dream Center, F.A.M.A., and Parks and Recs sports teams as volunteers and participants.

  • Be fully involved in events sponsored by F.A.M.A., Dream center, and local Parks.

  • Provide transportation to jails/prisons with advisory teams

  • Encourage fathers to attend G.E.D. classes T.B.A

  • Encourage fathers to enroll in trade school T.B.A

  • Schedule biannual Family Builder events for F.A.M.A.

Ex G/L

 

  • Encourage your congregation in the absolute love of Christ.

  • Gather statistical information relative to this ministry

  • Train church in gay/lesbian ministry (Mark from the Underground Network is willing to provide this training to the willing Church.

  • Bring in regular guest speakers to address the issue.

  • Acquire or create Family Builders curriculum for Ex-g/l ministry

  • Use facebook, twitter, and every other social network to invite hurting people and post testimonials.

  • Emphasize prayer, forgiveness, and accountability in Ex-g/l discipleship program

  • Provide etiquette and behavioral training to ex-g/ls

  • Encourage responsible men and husbands in your Assembly to view themselves as fathers for these new additions to the church family.

  • Use door to door home ministries to identify those in need of this ministry, but also be bold and loving enough to witness in clubs and other hostile settings.

  • They will need friends.  Make connections with the Underground network and other ex-g/l ministries.

  • Be lovingly involved politically in this issue.  Ex-g/ls should also prepare to be a voice in this arena for promoting the traditional family.

  • Schedule biannual Family Builders ex-g/l  events for the Alliance.
Skills- Trade School/ GED
  • Gather statistical information relative to this ministry
  • Assign the Education chairperson to find out the requirements for developing a formal trade school that might qualify for state or federal support.
  • Have education committee find a house or building that can be county coded for this ministry.
  • Ask qualified members within the Alliance to develop a trades training and apprenticeship team.
  • Find or develop curriculum.
  • Emphasize this ministry for discipleship training.
  • Train the team leaders  to pray for, advise, and build hope in disciples in apprenticeship program
