The purpose of the strategic assignments is for church ministries to engage themselves in their local community. If you would like your church to spearhead one of these assignments, contact us.



Tutoring- The church that does this outreach must be suited with qualified tutors.

Gather learning statistics associated with the disadvantages of children not being academically proficient at an early age.

Be very proactive in recruiting. Use the survey to acquire info on where prospective candidates for this ministry live.

Recruit students from all Alliance activities involved in academics

It may be to the advantage of the Alliance to have the Church that does this ministry be part of the educational committee that’s involved in organizing for The Alliance Academy.

Stay in constant contact with parents to gauge progress of students in program.

Use Gathering information to discover projects (begin with believers!)

Join with Somebody Cares Tampa Bay in their annual Care Fest

Document names and addresses of person’s served, as well as expenses and donated time and resources associated with this ministry.

Join the V.M. Ybor Neighborhood Association for collaboration in community efforts and for expanding the Alliance.

Use the same information to recruit Alliance members from the community

Contact code enforcement to discover which neighbors may be in need of assistance.

Grow Groups
Lessons in independence – goal setting, budgeting, growing wealth

Become a member of the Local Chamber of Commerce

Become a member of a local Christian Businessmen Association

Acquire leaders and speakers to educate and inspire youth and adults on this issue.

Gather statistical information relative to this ministry

Train children and adults to grow from welfare to independence. Teach the advantages of independence.
